2021 Kindle Oasis Tablet

2021 Kindle Oasis Tablet

Amazon made waves in 2007 with the release of their original e-reader, the Kindle. This revolutionary device existed in a time before tablets. Since then, the e-reader space has become saturated, with the Nook, Kobo, and regular tablets.

Update! The most stunning Kindle Oasis ever made—will blow you away.

Amazon has remained competitive in the market, offering three standalone e-readers: Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Oasis. The Kindle Oasis has received praise from bibliophiles everywhere, but is the 2021 model worth the $250 price tag?

What sets an e-reader apart from a regular tablet? The display, of course! If you wanted to read books on a standard LCD, you’d use your phone. The Kindle Oasis 7 inch 300 PPI display is stunning. Text loads fast closely mimicking the appearance of your favorite paperback.

One major issue with previous devices is the lack of built-in lighting. This device solves that issue with 25 high-powered LED lights. These lights are adjustable from a fresh daytime glow to warm nighttime light. The 2021 Oasis also has a setting to automatically switch between warm and cold according to the time of day.

2021 Kindle Oasis Tablet

Like its predecessors, the 2021 Kindle Oasis comes with two memory options, 8gb or 32gb. The battery lasts for over a week on a single charge, a feat no Apple or Android tablet can achieve. Another feature exclusive to Kindle is the option for Wi-fi or free cellular and wi-fi.

With free cellular, you can download books, pdfs, and even audible books anywhere you go. If you are a Kindle Unlimited member (The flagship service offers 1000’ of ebooks), opting for the free cellular is well worth the extra money.

The screen is beautiful, internals sounds, but the ergonomics will turn the heads of even the most devout paperback acolyte. Unlike the lower-end Kindle devices, the Oasis maintains comfort during long reading sessions.

The right side sticks out a bit more than the left, and the bottom is a bit thicker too. This design effectively makes a handle for the device. Located on this handle are two buttons for turning the page. The shape and buttons make one-handed reading very comfortable. Speaking of comfort, if you enjoy reading in the bath or pool, you can do so without fear.

The Oasis is waterproof up to 2 meters. You could leave it in the tub for an hour, and it will come out just fine. Another new feature is the automatic page rotation. Turn your Kindle on its side, and watch as the page flips to the new orientation.

Amazon changed the world with the original Kindle. They continue their e-reader superiority with the 2021 Oasis. It offers an entirely customizable reading experience, with adjustable lighting, free cellular, Audible, and a waterproof design, you can enjoy your books in any situation. Amazon, without a doubt, has the most extensive selection of audio and ebooks. The Oasis is worth its price tag. Buying another e-reader would be a shame.
